Biography Bill Rogers has been a credit union technology leader working with credit unions nationwide for more than 40 years. He currently manages several credit union conference programs and is the founder and Associate Editor of “Credit Union tech-talk” founded in 1988. Bill became involved in Biometric Identification in 1994 and worked behind the scenes to help bring this technology to the credit union movement. Today, hundreds of financial organizations use biometrics to provide positive identification and expanded services to their members. Bill is the founder of two international newsletters - Biometric Digest & Biometric Media Weekly and serves as an Associate Editor of both. He moderates several national conferences on biometric technology and is a frequent speaker on this subject. He also was the founder of a monthly technology newsletter for credit unions, Credit Union tech-talk and serves as Editor/Publisher of this publication. He was previously CEO for an international credit union data processing firm. Prior to that, he was a Vice President with CUNADATA Corp. and Regional manager with Electronic Data Systems. Bill was with EDS for six years prior to starting his own company in 1988. Before joining EDS, he was with the Missouri Credit Union League (now Missouri Credit Union Association) for over 19 years as Vice President of Credit Union Support Services and developer and Manager of the League’s data processing division for more than 14 years. |
